As soon as the sun began to shine on Seattle again the scooters could be spied tooling around downtown. This little red beauty marked number 37 posed for a nice snapshot near the corner of 1st & Bell in Belltown.

Bauhaus Books & Coffee is a historic Seattle cafe that has been a memorable part of the Capitol Hill culture and landscape since 1993. I snapped these images this past winter on a typically cold Northwest afternoon .
If you have not yet visited this landmark espresso stop, I encourage you to do so. Dozens of alternative Seattleites can be found sitting out on this corner of Melrose and Pinevue when the summer sun comes calling on Bauhaus.
Pushing through hundreds of bodies packed into the Seattle Public Market on a weekend creates an exciting challenge for snapping photos. The energy is like a wave that tosses you back and forth if you're not deliberate about moving forward.
Attempting a dead stop to frame a photo in the middle of that chaotic flow is like a suicide mission — but that did not stop me.
